I'm Ruthy, also known as RocknRuthy ( nic name given to me in grade school). Why the nic name? Simple... I'm Ruthy and I rock! :)

I'm originally from California ( santa Barbara). Living in Europe for nine years now. Which is very different in not only weather than California- but Culture wise. Yet Europe is soaking in many flavors of music.
I am 43 years Young! Yes I said 43! I feel like I age like wine , the older I get the better- also wiser. I have great people in my life and feel lucky to have so many friends and family. Did I mention I have Five Kids! Which Rock too! All my family is talented in music...hmmmm I wonder why?
I have been interested in music all my life and sort of obsessed with finding new bands from all over the world. I have been working with Radio - commercial acting - modeling and TV. since 1984 in California.
I was in a band in high school, yet my parents did not approve..haha. so yeah..I just went to many Ozzy concerts and AC/DC ..(.endless list though out my youth).
Music was Free back when I was a kid. Its industry has changed quite a bit now. Yet I believe that the internet is a great way to find new music.
I'm always finding my way back to working with Independent Bands. Seems to be a great challenge for me and I enjoy it very much. I approached The CEO of Hollywood Music TV -Steve Bartolone three years ago. I wanted him know I was living in Europe. I expressed interest in working with his company. We then started Holland's myspace together. Sharing music over seas is my passion. Steve Bartolone and all his crew with Hollywoodmusic TV rock!
I have been lucky to live in Europe and travel the world. I meet many bands in Europe that want exposure in the states as well as global. I work with independent - National Artist Worldwide.
I only work with highly Motivated People.
I feel that Music is a Universal Language.. I have visited many countries with my intrest in music and ejoying a new culture is also fun. I have Helped some of my favorite bands Network and find venes and festivals Global.
I feel that working with the internet ( myspace) is an important tool in Networking. Im learning to Speak Dutch while living here in Holland and I find that its the most difficult langauge to learn. Yet most People in Holland Speak English! I've had some great experience with making sites for a few bands and to translate for their myspace's.
My mail box is getting full with CD's from Around the world- which is totally awesome! Yet I want to mention one of my favorite bands Last Day Here.Yes- you caught me promoting once again.....check this out.
